It is used for volatile mother liquor, filtration cum distillation operations and high temperature applications. It can be insulated to avoid heat loss or can be jacketed to maintain higher operating temperature. The filtrate comes out under pressure and can be directly transferred without the help of the transfer pump. Minimum liquid content in cake, due to high pressure. Pressure leaf filter is available in M.S. and S.S. constructions with suitable filter clothes. Avail-able upto 20m2 filtration area.
